Netflix has released the official trailer for the upcoming American comedy film “The Sleepover,” which directed by Trish Sie, from a screenplay by Sarah Rothschild and Sarah Rothschild. The film is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on August 21, 2020.

The film stars Malin Akerman as Margot and It also has Ken Marino, Joe Manganiello, Erik Griffin, Karla Souza, Enuka Okuma, Sadie Stanley, Maxwell Simkins, Cree Cicchino and Lucas Jaye in the prominent roles.

The Netflix description reads, “During a fun weekend sleepover with their best friends, two siblings discover that their seemingly normal stay-at-home mom Margot (Malin Akerman) is a former high-end thief in the witness protection program. When both their mom and dad (Ken Marino) are kidnapped and forced to pull one last job with an ex-flame of Margot’s (Joe Manganiello), the siblings must team up to rescue their parents throughout one action-packed night that they’ll never forget, coming to Netflix on August 21.”

The video’s description on YouTube adds, “When two siblings discover their seemingly normal mom is a former thief in witness protection who has been forced to pull one last job, they team up to rescue her throughout an action-packed night.”
